Virus creates screenshots
img5IE7 patch released last week for a bug  is rapidly being exploited by hackers reports Trend Micro. The virus arrives as a fake MS Word doc but carries a lethal virus inside.
The most critical point of this virus is that it takes screenshots of the users PC and sends these to a remote malicious PC. When the fatal Microsoft Word document is opened it activates the virus which then can set about exploiting a users PC. Trend see this attack more as a proof of concept at them moment and when a patch to a known security hole is delivered the hackers then go about hacking against the hole on unpatched systems.

It remains to be said here at PC Support Now that users must keep there computers patched at all times and never open any suspicious email or visit suspicious websites.
